The installation was designed as a medium-scale production project, specifically engineered to fit within the constraints of a limited footprint and an existing industrial building.
The plant utilises a 1200 x 700 mm production tray, with a capacity of 9 blocks of 100 mm per cycle. Unlike systems with fixed racking, this facility employs a dynamic rack system (8 x 1 pallets). The elevator and lowerator function as rack loaders, integrated with a fully automated transfer car that transports the racks to the curing area.
At the heart of the plant is the Rometa 2030 vibrating machine, which features frequency inverter control, allowing the operator to adjust vibration settings with precision. This rack-based configuration enables full automation while requiring significantly lower investment in civil engineering and curing infrastructure. The entire installation is fully automated and managed from a central control cabin. On the dry line, the system is equipped with a double cubic station and a preparation table. For this specific client, the line is capable of palletising "voided" packs via a carousel system; the packs then pass through both horizontal and vertical strapping stations before reaching the forklift pickup point. This facility also incorporates a continuous piece-height control system to ensure consistent quality. Regarding the batching plant, the project integrated the client’s existing hoppers by adding a bespoke weighing hopper and installing the mixing unit inside the main building.
